Foundation

    Southeast Works Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1997 as a supporting organization to Southeast Works. The Board of Directors is comprised of persons from the Board of Southeast Works, the Executive Director of Southeast Works and a majority of persons in community leadership positions. The purpose is to build friendships nd raise money to support the capital needs of Southeast Works and seed money for new ventures that further the ability of the agency to support the fuller lives of the people we serve. The principal staff person to the Foundation is JoAnn Maciuba, who has over a decade of fundraising experience in WNY.

    The annual major fundraiser is the Challenge Dinner/Auction, held in September of each year. From the first year when this event raised $20,000 to now when we regularly raise over $100,000 we have grown in our capacity for fundraising and in our recognition and credibility in the community.
